Normal harvesting speed is 6 mph, even with the cruise control cranked up. I use the controller and adjusting cruise control is holding left and right bumpers then using the left stick up and down to adjust speed. Have you also been annoyed that the Giants have cruise control so messed up That you can change the speed only as slow Now here is a script that solves these problems. ![]() Keeping the user setting for each vehicle's autopilot speed would save a lot of time and make the game much better.Īnyone else feel this way? Anyone like the way it's implemented now? Would like to know. Havest speed is automatic, test it by going max speed and turning your harvester or tool on and off. Let me know how it works out, havent tried this yet. Grr! That means I very frequently have to put vehicles into autopilot and then throttle down, basically holding the "1" key until it's just right again. You need to edit the XML files for the vehicle you want under Farming Simulator 15datavehiclessteerable'vehicleName'. But in FS15, when you start from a saved game, or after letting a hired driver use your vehicle, your previous autopilot speed settings are deleted and once again your vehicle is set to the default, or full speed. If you loaded a saved game or hired a driver to use that vehicle, your preferred autopilot speed settings were retained, which was great. I think the FS13 mod ESLimiter speed settings were persistent, period. What I want is for the autopilot speed settings to be persistent. You DON'T want max speed if you're maneuvering around buildings, past other vehicles, heck, even driving down the roads where the speed limit is 30 not 52.Ģ. That's silly one would only want max speed once you're pointed in the right direction and have a long way to go. Few clicks and you will be able to use all extra features that were only imaginary before. The default autopilot speed is apparently the vehicle's max speed. Each Farming Simulator Mod will provide you with particular options so go ahead and add it to your version. That will engage the cruise control, and adjusting the speed using the Right stick, Up is less speed, Down is more speed. ![]() Anybody else have issues with the FS15 implementation of autopilot? To wit:ġ. Not sure if this was answered yet, If im beating a dead horse sorry, but I found setting the Cruise Control is done by hitting the Left and Right Bumpers at the same time, and the X button.
